Vanessa Gardner

Kia ora I’m Vanessa, a counsellor based in Christchurch and the heart behind Inward Journey Counselling. I offer warm, down-to-earth support for children, teens, adults and families navigating trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, grief, relationships, and life’s big transitions. I draw from a mix of evidence-based therapies like IFS, EMDR, ACT and DBT, tailoring each session to you. I am a member of NZAC, have a Bachelor of Applied Counselling, and have graduate-level training in general, cultural, and indigenous psychology.
