About
Vahideh (Vee) has worked as a mental health and addiction clinician in New Zealand for the past nine years across both primary and secondary mental health services, specialising in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Prior to moving to New Zealand, she worked as a psychologist overseas for three years.
Vahideh has done comprehensive training in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a few years of training in psychodrama. She combines evidence-based treatments with a compassionate and authentic approach and strives to tailor interventions to each person’s individual needs.
Vahideh speaks both English and Farsi/Persian languages.
