Kia ora, I am a clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience working across the public and private sectors. I work with adults and older adolescents and see people for a range of reasons, including anxiety, depression, stress and relationship issues. However, my area of expertise is in the treatment of trauma. I work with a variety of different types of trauma, including developmental/attachment trauma, trauma caused by abuse, single incident trauma and trauma related to people’s work roles (for example, first responders). I use evidence-based therapies and particularly enjoy working with brain and body-based interventions such as EMDR. I recognise that therapy is not “one size fits all” and like to work alongside my clients to collaboratively and creatively find techniques that are a good fit. I have a broad professional network so I can suggest and connect my clients with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to their recovery. My clinic is based in St Martins.
