Peati Mene-Vaele

I provide ACC assessment and therapy for adults. I have eight years of experience, working with depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. My therapy modalities are CBT and ACT trauma-informed approaches. I specialise in working with Pasifika with a cultural-informed lens. I also provide supervision for allied health professionals, and clinical trainees.

I have experience working in both corrections and community mental health settings. My interpersonal approach is underpinned by values of humility, respect, and service. I value client participation and perspective in order to understand how best to support one’s wellbeing journey.  My work with ACC is professionally supervised ensuring evidence-based and safe practice according to my psychology registration core competencies and ethics guidelines.
