About
Kia ora, I am a registered Occupational Therapist with 14 years of diverse experience across clinical, leadership, training, and supervisory roles. I was raised in a rainbow family and have rainbow and Māori children in our blended whānau. Our whānau values inclusion, protection, and aroha for all peoples, cultures, and Papatūānuku.
My true passion lies in creating healing spaces, where I work alongside kiritaki and whānau to support holistic well-being. I have extensive experience assisting individuals of all ages who have experienced trauma, and I am confident working with LGBTQIA+ communities and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Services Offered
Anxiety Management, Self-Regulation, Confidence Building, and Community Connectedness through:

- Simple somatic techniques explored, tailored, and integrated into daily life
- Reconnection with self and others through meaningful activities
- Confidence-building through engagement with nature, art, animals, music, and hobbies

I am culturally and professionally supported by my Registered Supervisor (Pou Ārahi, Māori Healer & NZROT). My learning journey has included participation in several wānanga focused on rongoā (traditional healing) philosophies, matakite (seer of sickness and death), and wairua (spirituality).
My ongoing commitment is to deepen my understanding of Te Āo Māori and ensure that my practice remains culturally safe and appropriate. I actively consult and collaborate with my current supports and other Kaupapa Māori organizations to uphold this standard.
