About
Dr Crawford has 19 years clinical experience and over that time she worked in primary and secondary mental health settings with children, adolescents, and adults. In 2016 Dr Crawford started working in private practice. Currently she is providing therapy and/or supervision for first responders and the Ministry of Justice as well as providing therapy, supported assessments, and mental injury assessments for ACC. Dr Crawford specialises in the assessment and management of trauma, women’s health, anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment to physical injuries. She is Invercargill based but provides both face to face clinics and Telehealth services. Dr Crawford has a PhD in traumatic brain injury and a diploma in clinical psychology. The therapeutic modalities
offered include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy.
