I have a Bachelor of Counselling (B.COUNS) and a Diploma of Christian studies -Relational track (DIP.CS. I am full member of the New Zealand Christian Counsellors Association (MNZCCA). I counsel in a warm, empathetic, insightful manner to assist you to gain clarity about yourself and your concerns. I recognise that we can all become stuck in certain areas of life at times. I enjoy walking alongside you to bring greater freedom and help you reach your full potential in life. The ethos that underpins my counselling practice is that: ‘It is through relationship people are healed’.
I have a special interest in working with women and young children and uses a variety of modalities including: Narrative Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Interactive drawing therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focussed Individual Therapy and creative therapies.
