I am a counsellor and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Practitioner. My practise “Willowburn Counselling” is in North Canterbury, New Zealand.

I have a background in horse-care, horse riding and teaching. I love being outside and in nature.

I am passionate about safe and happy relationships and helping people experience this-with themselves and others.

The importance of the relationship between horse, client and practitioner highlights the belief my practice is based on: Everything happens in the context of relationship. Hurting, healing, and changing. Increased awareness and change of perspective and behaviour often go hand in hand with this.

I have a passion for the Equine Therapy and also offer couples/relationship and family therapy (EFT modality). Equine Therapy as adjunct therapy will complement many of the goals you may be working on: Emotional regulation, increased awareness, increased ability to make choices for your-self, increased sense of confidence and self-esteem.
