Haley Van Duyn

I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with experience in working with clients of all ages, however I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I am skilled to work with a range of problem areas such as depression, anxiety (general and social), obsessive compulsive disorder, disordered eating, posttraumatic stress disorder and TICS. I also have experience working with “every day” issues such as stress, relationship problems, work challenges, identity difficulties, health challenges and behavioural problems. I am a registered ACC therapist, and complete ACC assessments.

I am trained in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). When working with trauma I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also utilise a lot of mindfulness and relaxation strategies in my work.
