Ellen Nijhof

Kia ora. I am a speech language therapist based in Christchurch. I graduated at the University of Canterbury with a BSLP degree in 2008 and a Master of Speech and Language Sciences in 2013.

I work with children and adults who have sustained concussion/traumatic brain injury/trauma. My work is varied and can involve education, speech and language, voice, social communication, memory, processing information, executive functioning, awareness, or swallowing difficulties.

I also work as a clinical educator at the Speech and Hearing Clinic at the University of Canterbury. This involves teaching/supporting speech language therapy students in their clinical papers and practice.
